In this virtual repository you can find a collection of useful, not so useful and downright strange facts and figures. Most of them relate to what we do at Colours – and maybe you will actually find something you are looking for.

Unfortunately our virtual repository can never have the visual appeal of something like the architectural concept at right, by Waalse Krook, for an Urban Library of the Future – but we are trying to make it look as nice as possible, so you keep coming back.

When we first set up this web page, Waalse Krook’s drawing was the main image I used at the head of the page. In 2009 it was nothing but a concept on a drawing board. The photo above shows how quickly concept can be turned into reality. It depicts the main foyer of Tianjin Binhai Library in Tianjin, China. It was designed by Dutch firm MVRDV and opened to the public in October 2017. You can read more about it here.

Both the FAQs and the Templates are regularly updated (John likes getting his name out there, and it does help our SEO statistics). If you have anything you would like to see on these pages feel free to let us know…
